The original G12M from the 1960s was the first Celestion guitar speaker to use a ceramic magnet and paved the way for high-powered guitar amps. The G12M uses a medium-weight magnet to produce a smooth, warm sound but bright enough to hold its own against any rock backline. Known simply as the Greenback, the G12M’s legendary “brown-tone” is characterized by a warm, controlled low end, a rich midrange, and a delicate, detailed high end.
