The Modern Deluxe is a new version of the Martin Vintage Series. These guitars are full of custom features and modern technology that you need to see, hear and feel for yourself. Vintage appointments include a Sitka Spruce Vintage Tone System (VTS) top, dovetail neck joint, and natural egg glue construction that gives these guitars the rich, fully aged Martin tone that has inspired generations. With a flamed maple or East Indian rosewood binding, elegant gold frets, open-gear gold tuners, and 1930s-style lettering on the headstock, the Modern Deluxe look is unlike anything in our production line before. Ultra-modern features include liquid metal bridge pins with red dots and a carbon fiber composite bridge plate that increases volume without adding weight. We also introduced a new, slightly asymmetrical neck shape for maximum hand comfort above and below the fretboard. With these guitars, refinement and performance come standard.
