The Darkglass Alpha-Omega 500 bass head takes the acclaimed Alpha-Omega amplifier to a new level of versatility. In addition to Alpha-Omega’s renowned overdrive/distortion engine, the Alpha-Omega 500 adds a studio-quality VCA compressor, flexible 6-band graphic EQ, and the ability to store three IR cabinet simulation presets for performances and direct recordings realistic.
All this combined with 500 watts of amplification makes the Darkglass Alpha-Omega 500 bass head a complete solution for both stage and studio. While it offers a whopping 500 watts to push some serious air through a cabinet, the head has everything you need to get great direct tones too. Featuring an XLR DI output on the rear panel, it has memory for up to three IR cabinet simulations and you can charge your own via USB.
The Darkglass Alpha-Omega 500 has the flexibility to integrate with virtually any bass rig. Dual speaker outputs offer 1/4″ or speakON connectivity. A send/return loop makes it easy to integrate pedals and other effects processors. You can even fine-tune the Alpha-Omega 500’s performance for any type of bass pickup , thanks to the Passive / Active input mode selector.
