Numa Compact 2X takes the power of the Compact series to the extreme. Inside its compact cabinet are now three 3 different sound synthesis systems: a physical modeling organ derived from Numa Organ, Sledge analog synthesis, and 1GB of memory for samples. A new USB port allows digital audio signals to be received and transmitted. With Numa Compact 2X, it is possible to amplify the sound of your Tablet or computer, from the internal speakers with great space saving and increased convenience of use. In the generation system the physical model of Tonewheel already successfully used of the popular Numa Organ has been implemented, the user interface is based on the traditional 9 programmable Sliders, which in this section naturally act as Drawbars to control the organ sound, or can be used to transmit MIDI controls.
The Virtual synth machine has been optimized to match the technology of Numa Compact 2X. The same sophisticated sound generator as Sledge, a wide range of synthesis sounds can be generated from a large library of basic waveforms. You can control 9 different synthesis parameters in real time via Sliders. High-quality digital audio signals can be sent and transmitted via the USB port. In this way, for example, you can record the sound of NC2X on your computer, or use the instrument’s internal amplification to amplify digital audio from a computer or tablet, in an endless array of practical combinations.
