The heat treatment increases the wood’s stability, durability, water resistance and tolerance to temperature variations.
The neck is sealed with an oil finish that makes it resemble a well-played guitar neck. The Super All Access neck joint offers superior playability with its 8mm concave curvature from the top of the body. By maximizing the joint area between the body and neck, sustain and resonance also increase. Seymour Duncan Hyperion pickups feature moderate output via Alnico-5 magnets to maintain sound clarity when using a distorted sound and to provide precise attack. From highs to lows, the overall tonal balance is evenly adjusted, and it works well with various effects pedals. The dyna-MIX 9 switch offers nine sound variations and can easily switch between humbucker and single coil with the touch of a mini-switch. One mode can also simulate the sound of a humbucker from the combination of the 2 single coil pickups.
