The Blues Jr. amp. Lacquered Tweed takes the 15W Fender gem and gives it a true vintage treatment with a tweed coating and a 12″ vintage Jensen speaker with golden tones generated by a tube signal path with a pair of EL84 output tubes and three 12AX7 tubes in the preamp. Add Fender’s famous reverb, versatile controls, FAT switch to push the mids, and you’re all set. Look at that chrome panel, that tweed fabric finished with a vintage-style brown and gold grille, and those vintage knobs with pointer.
