The MP-GT1 is the first MP3 player designed for guitarists. Based on the award-winning CD-GT1MkII, this portable Guitar Trainer comes with a memory capable of storing up to 240 songs. It features a thumbwheel for quick MP3 file and parameter selection, dedicated buttons and a backlit graphic display. Tracks and track sections can be looped (continuous looping) or slowed down without altering the pitch. The guitar part can be attenuated so that the user can safely practice difficult passages and solos by top guitarists. Songs can be transposed up or down to “tune” the guitar, making it unnecessary to tune the guitar to each song. The MP-GT1 allows you to play along with the song by offering a wide range of effects and distortion. A chromatic tuner is also incorporated. The high-speed USB connection allows fast uploading of MP3 files and also recharging of the included lithium-ion battery, which allows the unit to be used for about 8 hours (an optional power supply is available, however).
