Flexibility is the watchword for the flagship Bassbreaker 45 Combo, the latest evolution of the “grandfather” of almost all amplifiers—the ’59 Fender Bassman. This amplifier offers grit, crunch, and growl, along with a huge dynamic range and redefined dirty tube tones. This powerful amplifier delivers authentic Fender tone with a modern twist. Two EL34 power tubes add some spice to the traditional Bassman recipe with its three 12AX7 preamp tubes. This exotic aftertaste is enhanced by “Channel Jumping” via the dedicated Both input, for a sound full of crunch and attack. The Normal and Bright inputs, traditional circuitry, and gain stages are still there, delivering the timeless Fender sound. The output level control knob, which adjusts the output from 1 to 45 watts, harnesses the wild power of the Bassbreaker 45, delivering hard rock power at any volume through two 12″ 8-ohm Celestion V-Type speakers without sacrificing bass. The switch to select the 4, 8, or 16 Ohm output ensures maximum compatibility with any cabinet, but the Bassbreaker 45 Combo shines when paired with a Bassbreaker BB-212 cabinet.
