Michael Sanden selected the woods, making the tops a precise fit so that they flex and respond to the players’ attack. He then reinforced the instrument with his own designs to give each guitar its own personality. He wanted to create a guitar that had a sound that any musician, professional or amateur, could appreciate. To make the guitar authentic to the 1930s era, Michael added a dark stain to the woods we call Whiskey Barrel to make the Crossroads historic and simply elegant.
