The Katana MkII takes the acclaimed Katana series of guitar amplifiers to the next level, supercharging the core platform with more sounds, more effects, and more features. New tonal variations are now available for all five “Amp Characters,” doubling the sound options. The internal effects categories have been expanded from three to five, offering an even wider choice of real-time processing. Usability has also been improved, with a power amp input for modelers and multi-effects, simplified stereo expansion for two-amp setups, a software editor update, and many other enhancements. The five main sound characters of the Katana MkII cover everything from organic vintage sounds to modern high-gain tones, along with a dedicated voice optimized for electrified acoustic guitar. The characters have now been expanded with new tonal variations, offering a wider palette of sound options to bring your personal sound to life. Katana MkII now includes five categories of simultaneous effects, putting the power of a large pedalboard inside the amp. The independent Booster, Mod, FX, Delay, and Reverb sections are factory set with three variations each, offering 15 effects to choose from.
