The Korg M1, released in 1988, is a synthesizer based on the AI (Advanced Integrated) synthesis algorithm.
As a pioneer of PCM sound generation, the M1 became famous for its impressive sonic authenticity, as well as its unique tonal nuances and details. Many recognizable sounds—from piano to electric piano, synth pads, organs, basses, and drums—as well as the M1’s signature sounds, which are used by musicians around the world, remain relevant to this day.
