The Korg KRONOS 3 marks a significant evolution in the renowned series of music workstations, reaffirming its status as the benchmark for professional musicians. Since its launch in 2011, KRONOS has won over artists around the world thanks to its extraordinary tonal versatility and advanced features. The third generation further refines the user experience, introducing hardware and software updates that stem directly from feedback from the most demanding users. At the heart of the instrument are nine independent sound engines, capable of covering an extremely wide range of sounds—from analog synthesis to physical modeling—ensuring uncompromising sonic richness. Among the most significant new features is the integration, within the SGX-2 engine, of a refined Italian grand piano, which offers an extremely realistic reproduction of the nuances of high-quality acoustic instruments. Alongside this, the EP-1 engine, dedicated to electric pianos, enriches the palette with vintage sounds made even more authentic by built-in effects.
