Nautilus pushes the boundaries of what a synth workstation can do in terms of functionality and timbre. With the power of nine sound generators, an innovative approach to synthesis, a vast library of samples, MIDI and audio recording, effects, and processing power. There is currently no other synthesizer capable of offering more in terms of sound exploration and experimentation, with such a logical and intuitive workflow. KORG has spent years perfecting the various aspects of its technology—digital, analog, processing, and hardware—to provide every musician with an instrument that they can connect with perfectly. The result is Nautilus, an incredibly powerful and one-of-a-kind instrument.
Nine different sound generators: Starting with the SGX-2, which generates a wide selection of acoustic pianos by drawing from a vast loop-free PCM library—capturing even the subtlest nuances across 12 velocity levels, including string resonance, release noise, and more. The EP-1 realistically reproduces the tones of the most famous electric piano models. CX-3 emulates the unmistakable tone of tone-wheel organs. Added to these are the MOD-7 synthesis modules: VPM/FM, PolysixEX, and MS-20EX for analog modeling, and STR-1 for physical modeling.
ST Smooth Sound Transition: Selecting different operating modes or musical resources within them does not cause any interruption in the sound. You can call up various Programs or Combis, switch from a Program to a Combi, or even switch between Songs on the sequencer, while always maintaining the sound tails and effects during these transitions.
