The D3V is a fully active desktop monitoring system designed for singer-songwriters, producers, and music lovers who appreciate ADAM Audio’s sound quality at an affordable price. Available in white or black, these active monitors feature ADAM Audio’s iconic gold-plated ribbon tweeter and embody the brand’s traditional German industrial design. Each active pair features a 3.5“ aluminum woofer and a ferrite magnet system driven by 80 W amplifiers. The woofers are complemented by 3.5” double-sided passive radiators, which extend the D3V’s response down to 45 Hz. Drawing on 25 years of experience with ribbon tweeter technology, ADAM Audio has created a compact 1.5″ D-ART (Desktop Accelerated Ribbon Tweeter), so D3V owners can enjoy the precise and flawless high-frequency reproduction for which its monitoring systems are renowned.

The D3V has a USB-C input, so when connected to a computer, the monitor system functions as a digital output device, and no audio interface is required for playback. The Plug & Play functionality also applies to mobile devices, so you can enjoy high-quality audio without the compression or conversion typically associated with this type of connection. The D3V also features ¼” TRS inputs for more traditional analog audio applications. The rear panel of the left speaker features a range of easy-to-use switches designed to address common issues encountered when positioning the monitors. The front panel, on the other hand, includes a headphone jack and a volume knob that also functions as a control for selecting the audio input, muting, and other functions. The D3V includes a detachable monitor stand angled 15° toward the user’s ears. Additionally, the bottom of both monitors features a standard 3/8″ threaded mount for mounting on a microphone stand.
