The Sultan Series cymbals come under the Custom Series umbrella. With the combination of the Traditional series and Turk series delivering the brilliant sound characteristics of the Traditional and the dry, woody sound from the Turk cymbal series. The bell is raw and unlathed followed by concentric circles of lathed and unlathed areas. The Sultan Series delivers great mellow tones giving you the drummer excellent stick definition and controlled overtones. Ideally for Jazz and Fusion drummers but will not sound out of place in others genres for drumming too.
With a smoother and lower bell than the regular models, the jazz ride gives a more controlled stick definition with its thinner weight. Sultan series Jazz ride cymbal is perfect for accenting and holding that important tempo. An ideal ride cymbal for those you play jazz and fusion but can also be played nicely in most other genres of music.
