Designed in collaboration with the great guitarist Tommy Emmanuel, the TE series guitars are an extraordinary tribute to Tommy’s musical ability and Maton’s craftsmanship. Tommy is looking for a guitar with superb sound, capable of both the most delicate expression and the fiercest attack. The neck must remain stable despite the rigors of international travel, and the guitar must perform optimally, from Rome to Nashville to Sydney.
Our Tommy Emmanuel models feature a mother-of-pearl inlay at the 12th fret, engraved with “C.G.P.” The acronym stands for “Certified Guitar Player,” a title bestowed upon Tommy by Chet Atkins and held by only three other guitarists in the world: John Knowles, Jerry Reed, and Steve Warriner.
