The Eko Ranger CW EQ features the classic dreadnought shape with a Spruce top and basswood back and sides. The neck is birch with a 20-fret South American Roupana fingerboard, plastic saddle and nut. Ranger is definitely the word that resonates most in Eko’s history and helped establish it as a brand at the European level. Born with the name J-52 this guitar was updated and improved each time until the J-54 (6-string) and J-56 (12-string) versions were named Ranger VI and Ranger XII respectively in 1967. Famous for their excellent value for money and indestructibility, they can still be found in the homes of many guitarists today, perhaps in a corner of the living room as a piece of furniture. Perfect for those taking their first step into the world of acoustic guitar.
