The Gibson ES-335 is the cornerstone of Gibson USA’s ES collection.
Since its introduction into the catalog back in 1958, this model has been the benchmark model in the world of semi-hollow guitars.
This version reintroduces the salient features of the historic model in a contemporary guise that meets the needs of essentially everyone.
Specifically, we find a AAA flamed maple top, a center block and backstays with artificial aging treatment for amazing resonance, a mahogany neck with rounded edges and a very comfortable Rounded “C” profile, a fretboard with a Graph Tech fretboard – a material that facilitates string glide and thus acordance tightness, and a 1.695″ capo.
The pickups are a pair of Gibson Calibrated T-Type Humbuckers, with a warm, defined tone, while the electronics are hand-wired.
Hardware-wise we find the traditional ABR-1 aluminum bridge and a set of Vintage Deluxe tuners
