The American Professional II series takes everything that made the American Pro series one of the most popular and improves it. Fender has kept everything gamers loved and added improved features to improve sound, playability, and style. The beloved Deep “C” neck profile remains, but with softer edges for a more comfortable feel. The neck has a new, more natural finish for hours of frictionless play. The new sculpted neck heel provides a more ergonomic experience, allowing you to confidently play in the upper register. The American Professional II hardware has also been updated – The bridges on all guitar models have been redesigned. The new asymmetric neck plate has been bevelled for added comfort. The new Double Tap ™ humbuckers are the perfect complement to the new V-Mod II single coil pickups. Push-push pots allow special electronics, including additional pickup combinations, series / parallel operation and Double Tap ™ technology. Torrefied pine is now an additional option in the series. Fender has been using pine since 1950 – it’s a light wood with a punchy and complex sound. With its well-defined grain pattern, Roasted Pine is as beautiful as it is musical
