The Firebird model is one of the classics in Gibson’s catalog, and for 2018 it is also offered in a more affordable but mostly new version, namely equipped with a pair of P-90 pickups.
Specifically, the Firebird Studio is not built with a neck-through neck, but with a traditional glued-in neck. The pickups, as anticpated, are not a pair of mini-humbuckers, but a pair of Single-Coil P-90, capable of generating a defined, warm and clear sound at the same time.
