Exclusive to the Slash Collection are Slash’s signature “Skully” design on the back of the headstock, Slash’s signature on the truss rod cover, a blank truss rod cover in the case, Slash’s new Ernie Ball strings and four Slash Jim Dunlop Tortex picks. The Tune-o-matic ABR-1 bridge was designed by legendary Gibson president Ted McCarty in 1954, setting a standard of simplicity and functionality that has never been bettered. The ABR-1 is inserted directly into the body of the guitar using a separate pin and wheel, providing a stable position for the strings and allowing players to adjust pitch and string height in minutes. It also produces a great union between the strings and the body, resulting in excellent sound and vintage sustain.
