Fast and lean, this ergonomic instrument breaks new ground in playability, resetting the bar of what is possible in electric guitar design. The premium features of a Pro SL2Q MAH include a mahogany body with a gorgeous marbled maple top and one-piece maple through neck with scarf joint and graphite reinforcing rod to provide rigidity and stability, protecting against bending and warping caused by temperature and humidity.
With 24 jumbo frets and mother-of-pearl piranha tooth inlays, the 12″-16″ composite-radius maple fingerboard is designed to play at lightning speed-more curved at the capo for comfortable rhythmic patterns, flattens as you move up the neck (with hand-polished oil back) for faster-than-ever speed and wide, fretless bending. Chosen specifically for their incredible sound, a pair of modern direct-mount Seymour Duncan B-6 and SH-6N humbucking pickups drive the sound of this guitar, and combine for a highly balanced and flexible sound, with plenty of output for flawless cleans and growling distortion. Individual volume and tone controls shape the output of the pickups, which can be further refined with the three-position selector switch.
The recessed Floyd Rose 1000 Series double-locking tremolo system offers optimum comfort with laser-precise tuning and ultra-stable tuning. Equipped with all of Jackson’s famous details, the Pro SL2Q MAH is offered in a lovely Caribbean Blue Fade finish with an inline 6-piece Jackson tuning headstock and black hardware.
