David Grissom CY – Charcoal Cherry Burst – the DGT (David Grissom Trem) is the result of a long-standing collaboration between Paul Reed Smith and David Grissom. This instrument is based on the McCarty with a unique DGT neck shape, taller frets, special pickups, and a revised control layout. A lot of work went into painstakingly comparing more than 40 sets of pickups before catching the vintage voice of DGT humbuckers. The special DGT pickups, combined with the controls’ layout, provide an enormous versatility and articulation.
