Producing musical instruments since 1947, with the commitment, care and passion of an entire family that, more than 70 years after its founding, continues to offer the exact same philosophy of the beginnings by updating it to the demands of the modern market. This is Tokai: a Japanese Company, stationed in Hamamatsu, Shizuoka Prefecture, born from Tadayouki Adachi’s idea to produce high quality instruments, then developed and enlarged into what it is today, one of the most highly regarded guitar makers in the entire Land of the Rising Sun.
Under the presidency of Shohei Adachi, the founder’s grandson, Tokai has become a point of reference for enthusiasts all over the planet because of the extreme quality of the instruments on offer, mainly replicas of the guitars that have written the finest pages of rock history, helping to build the myth of Japanese guitar manufacturing, of which it is a leading exponent.
