Helix LT also acts as an ideal backup processor for Helix Floor and Helix Rack owners, as the presets of all three are compatible. At the heart of the Helix LT is Line 6’s dual DSP HX modelling engine. The HX engine reproduces every last detail that goes into a great amplifier. Every single detail has been taken into account, right down to the oscillation of an amplifier’s power supply and the attenuation of a valve, ensuring that you receive an ultra-realistic feel and experience.
The classic openness and compression of some amps and the powerful punch of others have all been faithfully represented. You can also load custom impulse responses to personalise your sound. Finally, the Helix LT features Variax guitar control enhancements that allow you to switch between two guitar models with a footswitch, control Helix amp and effects parameters from the volume and tone knobs on your Variax guitar, adjust the pitch of each string for presets or snapshots, and much more.
