Mercury Box is the new overdrive/distortionist in
Brunetti’s stomp format. It encapsulates in a small
metal box the features that have made the
channel 2 of the CustomWork Mercury head unit!
It features “FET” technology to reproduce the
behavior and dynamics of valves as
faithfully as possible. Mercury Box is extremely
versatile, and can go from a crunch sound
present all the way to a rocky distortion
hard rock, always defined and never slabby, but
extremely smooth and respectful of the timbre of the
instrument, even at high gain levels.
The controls are smooth and sensitive, but at the same
time very effective, as they interact
each other perfectly, just like
in a real tube amplifier.

Mercury Box is also the result of careful design and
long research by Marco Brunetti, and the result obtained
is something unique and technologically new, not
a simple improved clone of a famous pedal!
These are the features that make

A – True-bypass switch for turning the effect on/off: with the pedal
off, the signal is not altered in any way by Mercury Box
B – Signal output jack to the amplifier
C – Signal input jack from the instrument
D – Standard “BOSS” connector for 9Vdc power supply (negative center).
DO NOT OVERPOWER THE PEDAL! PROTECT THE CONNECTOR
OF THE BATTERY WITH THE SUPPLIED CAP!
E – VOLUME: Knob for controlling the output level of the effect: useful for
level the volumes when the effect is off and on, turn it clockwise to
increase the output signal
F – BASS: Knob for controlling the level of low frequencies: turn it
clockwise to emphasize the bass presence
G – EDGE: Knob for controlling the mid/high frequencies: turn it
clockwise to boost the mids and make the distortion more present
and aggressive

H – GAIN: Gain adjustment knob: turn it clockwise
to increase the distortion level of the Mercury Boxes
I – Led signaling the activation of the effect
