Mooer micro preamps are, from a sonic standpoint, accurate digital recreations of the preamp sections of popular tube amplifiers. Mooer developed them by directly analyzing real tube amplifiers using new technology to capture their sound, dynamics, and response. Each micro preamp comes complete with two channels, integrated cabinet simulation, and dual operating modes to meet the needs of all users. To start, Mooer has released a series of 10 models, each based on a popular tube amplifier from a range of manufacturers. These are designed to be used with the Mooer power amp, coming soon, or in the effects return of any guitar amplifier. The cabinet speaker simulation allows you to connect directly to a sound card, powered monitor, or PA without the need for a guitar amplifier or cabinet.
