The design of the MojoMojo Overdrive was simultaneously very simple and complex. At TC Electronic, they knew what they wanted from the start: a pedal that sounded like an amp, with a very open character and a slight compression that allowed even the subtlest detail to shine through. Basically, they decided to “capture lightning in a bottle” with a sharpness that even allowed complex chords to stand out.
