The Rode NT-USB is a highly versatile side-address microphone ideal for singing, recording, and musical performance, as well as vocal applications such as podcasting and voice-over. It is fully compatible with all traditional recording applications on both Windows and Mac OS, as well as Apple iPad using RØDE Rec, GarageBand, or any other recording application that accepts an external microphone. Use on Apple iPad requires a suitable USB connection adapter, such as the Apple Camera Connection Kit. The NT-USB has a stereo (3.5 mm) zero-latency headphone jack output for real-time microphone monitoring, with knobs to adjust the monitoring and mix level between computer/ iPad audio and the microphone input. An antipop filter is included that fits on the base of the microphone, placing the filter at the ideal distance from the capsule. Also provided is a high-quality mounting stand with standard 3/8” threads, table stand that allows the NT-USB to be placed at a comfortable height on a table, and a case to store the microphone when not in use.
