Based on an original and unique concept for the category of overdrive pedals, the Genius has as its starting point the same features already found in the best seller Oracle, overdrive/distortion with three gain stages in series calibrated to add to the signal all the sound and dynamic components typical of a head in saturation.
Designed to be easy to approach, but with everything necessary to ensure a good versatility of use, the Genius is equipped with a knob for the Level and one for the Gain. The equalization is entrusted to separate controls for treble and bass, useful to shape the sound at best and hide or bring out with evidence the midrange by contrast.
Thanks to the selector placed at the center of the chassis, you can switch from a Drive mode to an Overdrive mode to get a greater range of gain and tone that can also lead to the definition of distortion.
The strong point announced by Kor, however, lies in the responsiveness of the pedal and its behavior under the fingers of the musician. The Genius is designed to alternate clean, crunch and lead sounds just by dosing the stroke and the volume of the guitar, without suffering from excessive signal drops during the roll-off.
