Soundcraft introduces the new Ui series of remote digital mixers, providing the unprecedented ability to mix audio from any Wi-Fi connected device anywhere. Integrated into the new Ui12 and Ui16 is a Wi-Fi router that can be controlled from a Tablet, PC or Smartphone. They have a platform compatible with iOS, Android, Windows, Mac OS and Linux devices, and up to 10 control devices can be used simultaneously. In addition, Ui12 and Ui16 feature dbx, Digitech and Lexicon DSPs, including dbx AFS2, Digitech Amp Modeling, and more. Gain and phantom power, 4-band parametric EQ, high-pass filter, compressor, de-esser and noise gate on all input channels can be remotely controlled and recalled from both models. 31-band graphic equalizer, noise gate and compressor on all outputs, plus a real-time frequency analyzer (RTA) on inputs and outputs. There are also three dedicated Lexicon effects buses for Reverb, Delay and Chorus. In addition, mixer controls include Sub Group, Mute Group and View Group, among others.

Ui Series mixers can recall complete Show/Snapshot configurations with channel Recall Safe, while security lockout features allow customization of access to only specific device functions and mixes when needed. Both mixers have on-board independent network interfaces for simultaneous control from Wi-Fi and Ethernet, as well as a rugged floor-standing chassis for live applications. The Ui12 is equipped with four XLR combo mic/line inputs, four XLR mic inputs, two Hi-Z instrument inputs and one RCA stereo line input. A two-channel USB port is included as a media player, along with two balanced XLR aux outputs, two headphone outputs with level control on 6.3 mm jacks, as well as balanced master outputs on XLR and on 6.3 mm jacks. The two-channel USB port is read compatible with MP3, WAV and AIFF audio formats. The Ui16 boasts eight XLR combo mic/line inputs, four XLR mic inputs, two Hi-Z instrument inputs and one RCA stereo line input. A two-channel USB port is included as a media player, along with two balanced XLR aux outputs, two headphone outputs with level control on 6.3 mm jacks, as well as balanced master outputs on XLR and 6.3 mm jacks.The two-channel USB port is read-compatible with MP3, WAV and AIFF audio formats, and direct USB recording is also possible, again with two channels.
