Martin took the DX1AE Macassar Burst and reinvented it. The result is the D-X2E Burst. This Dreadnought model has a Spruce top, high-pressure laminate (HPL) back and sides with Macassar pattern. New mother-of-pearl pattern inlay on rosette and fingerboard gives the D-X2E Burst richness, making it as impressive to look at as it is to play. With Performing Artist neck, fingerboard and bridge in select wood, the sound transfer of this model has been greatly improved. It is equipped with Fishman MX electronics and Martin Authentic Acoustic Lifespan 2.0 strings. With a new soft case with headstock, bridge and peg protectors, durable water-repellent exterior and foam padding, this model is ready to go anywhere.
