Studiologic Numa Concert is a professional stage piano with an 88-key Graded Hammer Action keyboard, with a wooden fingerboard and “Ivory Feel” white key surface. The mechanics of the keyboard incredibly reproduce the touch of a concert piano, while the triple key detection system allows the execution of extremely fast rebounds. The new concert piano samples were acquired with top-notch equipment, expert tuning technicians, and instrument artists.
The new Concert Grand and Stage Grand sounds are based on 1GB of samples acquired from two benchmark concert pianos: a Model D and an F308. Perfect control over this sound structure is made possible by the renowned FATAR TP/40W keyboard with wooden keys. This keyboard has three sensing points, which provide a high-resolution system for measuring the velocity of each fret. String resonance was carefully analyzed, reproduced, and implemented on the Numa Concert, so that the same realistic effect could be achieved. The implementation of all this was made possible by a powerful DSP technology, capable of generating up to 128 notes of polyphony.
