The Ashdown Bass Plus Chorus is a bass-specific unit that provides a wide range of Chorus, Flanger and Resonance Filter effects. Ashdown has combined Speed and Depth adjustment into a single control that automatically decreases depth when speed increases. To give some degree of pitch adjustment, the Range control was introduced. With the Chorus/Flange knob it is possible to switch between Chorus and Flanging by providing control over the degree of Flanging introduced into the Chorus effect. The automatic Sweep system of the filter effect can also be disabled by the Filter switch. In this mode, the Speed control provides a means to manually sweep through the filter range for resonance effects. It is important to set the correct input level on the VU-Meter in order to ensure that the unit works optimally.
