The MIA A400ce XII comes in Natural color with Gloss finish, with an Auditorium cutaway shape, a feature that allows the guitarist to easily reach the highest frets. The combination of solid Cedar on the top and Ovangkol on the sides and back, the result of careful research, gives this instrument a very wide timbral spectrum that is always well balanced on every single string. A decidedly important feature is the presence of a very high-performance amplification system, the Fishman Flex Blend: consisting of piezo and an internal condenser microphone, this system allows every nuance of the guitar to be captured thanks to the possibility of gradually adding to the piezo signal the signal picked up by the microphone, via a Blend potentiometer.
Among the controls, in addition to Output Volume and Blend, are a display tuner (activated by pressing the volume pot) and an EQ control that works in Mid-Scooped mode: held at minimum the signal is not equalized (flat), increasing it gradually reduces the midrange in favor of low and high frequencies, very convenient for getting a sound ready for the mix. In case the guitar should have feedback problems, a very common situation in the acoustic environment, it is possible to reverse the phase by pressing theEQ potentiometer.Linsieme of all these features make the MIA A400ce XII a suitable instrument in professional settings, whether in the recording studio or on stage.
