On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Duesenberg has produced a cool 40th Aniversary Limited Edtion signature for Tom Petty’s guitarist Mike Campbell. The Starplayer TV DTV-MC40, painted in Catalina Green, also bears Mike Campbell’s trademark, the characteristic “Racing Stripes”, the headstock is also lacquered in body color. The Duesenberg Deluxe Tremolo/Steel Saddle Bridge combination, combined with the Z tuners, makes a tremendous “tremolo”. For the typical Duesenberg sound, a Grand Vintage Humbucker/Domino P-90 combination is fitted, An optical highlight is the Chrome pickguard, which features a laser engraving from Mike Campbell’s signature and the 40th Anniversary logo.
