The Fender American Vintage II series presents a remarkably accurate version of the revolutionary designs that changed the course of music history. The 1973 American Vintage II Stratocaster exudes the spirit of the era and is equipped with a trio of Pure Vintage ’73 staggered pickups, a large headstock with double string shafts, a convenient bullet-shaped truss rod nut and a three-bolt plate with Micro-Tilt mechanism.
The C-shaped maple neck sounds like a dream with a 7.25-inch radius rosewood fingerboard and vintage frets.
The guitar is offered in three classic colors on ash: Aged Natural, Lake Placid Blue and Mocha, the latter being the first-ever custom color to feature a black pickguard on a Stratocaster. Other features include vintage-style F-molded tuners and a synchronized tremolo with steel saddles and cold-rolled steel block.
