The R66 guitars are meant to celebrate a path, a journey, a story that continues, but also to pay tribute to what is the very symbol of American electric guitar history: the Strat. They are joined on this journey by a name born at the western end of Route 66, which has been part of New World culture, music and thought for half a century now. The name that was first juxtaposed with the concept of the Super-Strat, born in a small lutherie workshop and then spread across the globe.
The models were developed exclusively for the Italian market, all with Alder body and Roasted Maple neck, self-locking tuners and two-pivot tremolo, but different in choice of pickup configuration and fingerboard woods. Instruments with their own very strong sonic identity, but united by an exceptional playability that establishes their uniqueness on the market.
