The AD-8 is a pedalboard processor that allows the sound generated by an electrified acoustic guitar to be enriched with all those reverb and sound paste characteristics, typical of acoustic sound, that are often lost if the guitar pickup is not of great quality. The AD-8 can be used both during recordings and in live applications. In both cases its role is of considerable importance. The AD-8 makes it possible to convert the overly squeaky sound of a piezo pickup into a sound whose presence is approachable to that of a quality microphone pickup.
In addition, by means of COSM Acoustic modeling algorithms, a reverberation pattern relative to a specific acoustic guitar body or string type can be generated. The resulting sound is further enhanced with a high-quality 4-band equalizer and reverb. An anti-feedback function (most useful for live performance) and a pedal-controllable tuner mode complete the equipment of this product. The AD-8 is without a doubt the essential processor for the electrified acoustic guitar.
