This Boss guitar pedalboard uses the latest generation of COSM technology. It offers an even more powerful sound, new effects and new features, all packed into a compact “floor unit” with analog controls.
New COSM algorithms
COSM technology is now the foundation of all Roland and Boss guitar products. Originating with the legendary Virtual Guitar VG-8, it has undergone implementations and enhancements over the years making it even more powerful. With GT-6 came as many as 30 types of amplifier models. New Overdrive/Distortion models (15 types) and an innovative Wah section have been added.
Customization
In addition to using Ampli and Distortion simulations with GT-6 it is possible, by configuring a number of parameters, to create new and original sounds. Using this castomization function you will have at your disposal
infinite Ampli and distortion models at your disposal.
High Sound Quality
Using 24bit A/D/A conversion (with AF method), GT-6 offers superb sound quality.
Simple operation
GT-6 Features 15 knobs on the panel that allow real-time operation of the amp, speakers, distortion sections, and a variety of parameters inherent to effects.
New effects
GT-6 includes a number of new effects, the most distinctive being the UNI-V, which combines a pitch shifter with a vibrato, and a DEFRETTER that allows you to simulate a guitar without frets.
EZ Tone
This function allows you to control effect parameters easily and intuitively, without having to go into strange and complex configurations.
Expression Pedal
The expression pedal is fully configurable you can combine a Wah and volume control and switch it through a switch located under the expression pedal itself.
Configurable outputs
GT-6 offers 7 different types of output configurations to suit different types of connections (Combo Amp, Stack AMP, Line etc.)
