Martin took the DX1KAE and reinvented it. The result is the D-X2E Koa. This Dreadnought model features a spruce top and high-pressure laminate (HPL) back and sides with a Koa pattern, generated from premium Hawaiian koa that was specially selected from Martin’s lumber stores. New mother-of-pearl rosette and fingerboard inlay adds richness to the D-X2E, making it as impressive to look at as it is to play. With a Performing Artist neck, fingerboard, and bridge made from selected wood, the sound transfer of this model has been significantly improved. It features Fishman MX electronics and Martin Authentic Acoustic Lifespan 2.0 strings. With a new soft case featuring headstock, bridge, and tuning peg protection, durable water-repellent exterior, and foam padding, this model is ready to go anywhere.
