We have updated the famous MOX series with the latest MOTIF XF technology by adding more sounds, more effects, and even an optional flash card slot. Because it is compatible with MOTIF XF and MOX data, MOXF has a large collection of sound libraries and samples available immediately.
Expandable, portable, reliable, and compatible with a wide range of products, these tools bring the music production power of MOTIF to a new generation of musicians and producers. – MOTIF XF sound engine MOXF boasts a rich array of instrumental voices including piano, electric piano, strings, wind instruments, orchestral sounds, guitars, basses and drums, as well as a wide range of vintage and modern synth sounds.
Especially noteworthy are the detailed digital reproductions of two Yamaha grand pianos (a 9-ft CFIIIS and a 7-ft S6) that only an acoustic piano manufacturer can achieve. Detailed reproduction of the subtlest nuances has resulted in exquisitely finished piano voices that satisfy even the most demanding musicians.
With a total of 741 MG of waveforms and completely revamped content, MOXF offers 136 new voices that include the superb S6 grand piano, keyboard sounds such as clavinets and organs, and a range of new sounds drawn from different musical genres such as the orchestral and hip-hop genres. – VCM Effects Yamaha’s patented VCM (Virtual Circuitry Modeling) technology simulates the effects of vintage EQs, compressors and phasers at the circuit level.
This technology has enabled Yamaha to improve the quality of instruments within MOXF by modeling the sonic texture of vintage analog compressors, EQs and stomp boxes down to transistors and resistors. MOXF puts the high-quality effects found in Yamaha’s industry-standard digital recording consoles at your fingertips, as well as the famous REV-X reverb found in the SPX2000. It also features vocoder effects that allow you to connect a microphone to the MOXF’s A/D input terminal and apply the effects to your voice or create amazing harmonies.
Flash memory expandability MOXF is compatible with the sound content developed for MOTIF XF and MOX. The optional Flash card allows you to add up to 1 GB of new samples to MOXF to customize and manage the sound to your needs, using promotional content such as Yamaha’s “Inspiration In A Flash” and “CP1 Piano” as well as major libraries for sale produced by third parties. Performance mode to enhance creativity Performance mode allows you to combine multiple voices (up to 4 parts) and play them on a MIDI channel in order to play dynamic layer sounds or even solos along with drum and bass accompaniment tracks.
